Formative scenarios for sustainability

This project will construct, through participatory methods, future scenarios for sustainable regional development in the area of Walloon Brabant, Belgium. In particular it (a) will accompany a set of real world laboratories for transition in this territory facilitated by the co-construction of these scenarios and (b) compare the methods used for scenario building to other territorial transition processes in Europe.
It is financed by the Wallon Institute for Sustainable Development - WISD.

Collaborative cities for collaborative entrepreneurs (city4coEN)
[January 2017-January 2021]

This project conduct a comparative and systematic assessment of advantages and disadvantages of organisational and business models of the collaborative economy in the Region of Brussels-Capital in three specific sectors: mobility, housing and food. The project is a collaboration between 3 Belgian universities (UCLouvain, StLouis and Odisee-KUL) and is financed by Innoviris-Anticipate (Prospective Research).

Food4Gut [March 2014–(extended) August 2019]

Thanks to an innovative approach to nutrition, Food4Gut aims to demonstrate that a change in individual and societal behavior, promoting the supply of locally produced vegetables and high in fructan -type prebiotic , creates a real public health benefit in agreement with the ecological and economic development of the Walloon Region which finances the project.

Food4Sustainability [October 2013–June 2018]

Food4Sustainability analyses the governance of initiatives involved in the transition to a sustainable agro-food system as well as the motivations of the actors. The project is a collaboration between 3 Belgian universities (UCLouvain, KU Leuven and ULB) and is financed by BELSPO : BRAIN - Belgian Research Action Through Interdisciplinary Network.
